Academically I like to learning about education based topics. This ranges from new trends in education to new developments in curriculum. My personal learning interests are in travel and working out.
What hardware do you use to learn? (Eg. smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)
The main piece of hardware that I use to learn is my laptop.
What software do you use to learn? (Eg. search engines, mobile apps, social networks, eBooks, digital libraries, wikis, blogs, videos, podcasts)
Podcasts, search engines, news articles and library databases.
What digital tools do you wish you had access to for learning? (Eg. any graphic organizers, mind-mapping tools, resource management tools, progress tracking tools, design tools, etc.) Why?
Graphic organizers, design tools and PDF editing software.
What might your ideal Personal Learning Environment (PLE) look like?
My ideal personal learning environment is one that combines both independence and collaboration. I also enjoy quite a bit of structure in my learning process. Have access to available tools is also a huge benefit.
