Who are you, and what do you like to learn about? (academically, professionally, and/or personally)

I am a junior at Wheelock College. I am a BSW student who is minoring in Juvenile Justice and Youth Advocacy. I am also interested in writing and poetry.

What hardware do you use to learn? (Eg. smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)

I have a macbook and an iPhone.

What software do you use to learn? (Eg. search engines, mobile apps, social networks, eBooks, digital libraries, wikis, blogs, videos, podcasts)

I often use search engines, such as google, and digital libraries. I often use the online resources that Wheelock’s library has in order to find scholarly articles and research. I also use social networks, such as Twitter, for class participation.

What digital tools do you wish you had access to for learning? (Eg. any graphic organizers, mind-mapping tools, resource management tools, progress tracking tools, design tools, etc.) Why?

I think having access to a graphic organizer online would be very helpful. I find it very difficult to remember my scheudle and often forget a paper agenda. Having it online would help me never forget it and be much more organized and time managed.

What might your ideal Personal Learning Environment (PLE) look like?

I am not sure what this question is asking, but I do enjoy a quiet and motivating learning environment.
