Who are you, and what do you like to learn about? (academically, professionally, and/or personally)

I am a senior project manager working for a telecommunication company in China. I like to learn about applying learning technologies to advance working skills. And personally, I like to learn about practicing learning theories to enhance personal happiness.

What hardware do you use to learn? (Eg. smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)

Normally, I use laptop to learn. Kindle is a good tool for me to learn from many eBooks. I also use smart phone to interact with others for social learning, and a few apps of education have been downloaded in my smart phone and iPad so that I can learn anytime in anywhere. Sometimes desktop is my choice as well, after all, the screen of desktop is bigger than smartphone that makes me feel more comfortable.

What software do you use to learn? (Eg. search engines, mobile apps, social networks, eBooks, digital libraries, wikis, blogs, videos, podcasts)

I use search engines, such as Google, to find out the information about my research. I read eBooks on kindle, which is a large capacity and light reading tool that let me learn in a convenient way. Wikis also is my favorite website, for I always can learn from items contributed by others. I install a group of mobile apps on my smart phone and iPad. These apps focus on certain area or theme, including videos, space of social interaction, podcasts and so on, which are helpful to learn in a flexible way.

What digital tools do you wish you had access to for learning? (Eg. any graphic organizers, mind-mapping tools, resource management tools, progress tracking tools, design tools, etc.) Why?

I would like to use mind-mapping tools to organize the knowledge points, for I think this activity would help make understanding clearer and easier.

What might your ideal Personal Learning Environment (PLE) look like?

First, I would like that there is an app for learning because I often need to learning outside and in a dynamic environment. Apps would be helpful to me that make use of fragmented time.
Second, the connectivity of PLE should be stable, and then I can get learning resource quickly as well as use learning tools in a right way.
