Who are you, and what do you like to learn about? (academically, professionally, and/or personally)

I’m a digital media freelancer, and would like to learn more about educational technology

What hardware do you use to learn? (Eg. smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)

Laptop, smart phone

What software do you use to learn? (Eg. search engines, mobile apps, social networks, eBooks, digital libraries, wikis, blogs, videos, podcasts)

Blackboard.com and Webex (for class), Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for work and recreational purposes. Sometimes for class I use blogs such as WordPress.com

What digital tools do you wish you had access to for learning? (Eg. any graphic organizers, mind-mapping tools, resource management tools, progress tracking tools, design tools, etc.) Why?

I wish I had easier access to Articulate Storyline. This software operates only on Windows, to use it on Macintosh would require installing the additional Parallels Desktop software. I like Articulate Storyline for its versatility in creating e-courses.

What might your ideal Personal Learning Environment (PLE) look like?

Plenty of visual and written guides available to choose from, not all there at once to overwhelm users. This way gives learners more autonomy to learn as they choose, and at their own pace.
