Who are you, and what do you like to learn about? (academically, professionally, and/or personally)

I’m a student studying theater and political science, so Iike to keep updated on news and I really like to learn anything new about theater.

What hardware do you use to learn? (Eg. smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)

I use my iPhone and my Macbook.

What software do you use to learn? (Eg. search engines, mobile apps, social networks, eBooks, digital libraries, wikis, blogs, videos, podcasts)

I mostly use BBC, Upworthy, Buzzfeed, Facebook, Instagram and databases like Jstor and ebrary.

What digital tools do you wish you had access to for learning? (Eg. any graphic organizers, mind-mapping tools, resource management tools, progress tracking tools, design tools, etc.) Why?

I wish I had a learning environment with built-in breaks that give me a game to play or something else to give me a short break without distracting me too much like taking a social media break.

What might your ideal Personal Learning Environment (PLE) look like?

A lot of news websites and places to access accurate information are still riddled with ads and distractions that hinder my learning. Other times, it’s hard to find exactly what I’m looking for due to the complex setup of the site/app. My ideal PLE would be easy to navigate and free of distractions like ads and biased information/news.
