Who are you, and what do you like to learn about? (academically, professionally, and/or personally)

I am a college senior who is majoring in special education and psychology. I like to learn about anything and everything.

What hardware do you use to learn? (Eg. smart phone, tablet, laptop, desktop)

I use my iPhone 5s on a daily basis to text, call, look up information, social media, weather, write things down, etc. I also use my MacBook Pro, mainly for homework and school purposes. I also use it for social media, music and looking at photos.

What software do you use to learn? (Eg. search engines, mobile apps, social networks, eBooks, digital libraries, wikis, blogs, videos, podcasts)

I use Google an awful lot to look up information and even for images. I also use Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram for updates about whatever pops up.

What digital tools do you wish you had access to for learning? (Eg. any graphic organizers, mind-mapping tools, resource management tools, progress tracking tools, design tools, etc.) Why?

I’m not sure. I wish there was something that was more personalable and would understand if I typed in anything really wacky and come up with reasonable suggestions.

What might your ideal Personal Learning Environment (PLE) look like?

I would like an environment that wasn’t so technology based. I’m more of a hands on visual learner, so having something infront of me rather than digitally helps me out a lot more rather than not.
